We’ll currently working on our new website but in the meantime this page features a small selection of our client work and studio projects.
If you’re interested in working with us or would like to find out more about what we do over a coffee (and no-doubt a cinnamon bun or two) then we’d love to hear from you.

The Plant Room is an ongoing series of pop-up exhibitions and collaborations.
The project was inspired by a research article on minimalist workspaces. By introducing plants into the workplace, productivity, creativity and wellbeing are greatly enhanced. We took the essence of this research and created a collaborative project bringing plants, illustration, ceramics and design into working environments.
We’re currently collaborating with Colours May Vary and Village Bookstore in Leeds and have our own pop-up shop at the studio that is open on Fridays 10am – 6.30pm.
The Archipelago Press is a small press and the online shop for The Archipelago design studio.
The shop will sell prints and other works from the exhibitions we curate along with other small publications and printed matter.
Our new home at Aire St Workshops is even more central and our studio space was once a recording studio where the likes of Annie Lennox, Joy Division and Utah Saints recorded.
It’s a place to make, with space to think.
We are an independent branding and print design studio based in Leeds.
The idea behind The Archipelago is quite simple. Keep the studio small, always. Work with like-minded people and make our own projects part of studio life.
Our design philosophy is straightforward — simple, functional, everyday.
By observing simplicity and function we make work that is subtle, beautiful and rooted in the everyday. This philosophy informs our approach to design on a daily basis and reminds us of what matters most.
